Shipping & Returns

Q: Returns / Exchange

Call customer service at 800-669-2535 for a return authorization # to send back any merchandise. That # goes on the outside of the box next to the address label to identify your return.

Q: How fast is my order processed?

Under normal circumstances, orders are processed the same or following day, Monday through Friday during typical business hours. All orders placed Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday, with the exception of holidays.

Q: When will my order ship?

Many items are available for immediate shipment, however, we are a custom shop, and some items will require time to build. If you are concerned about immediate availability on a particular item, please call customer service at 800-669-2535.

Q: Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

We do ship to Alaska & Hawaii. The rate quoted during checkout is only an estimate and is subject to additional shipping charges.

Q: Do you ship to Freight Forwarders?

No we do not. There are no exceptions.

Q: Do you ship to Canada?

Yes we do.

Q: How much is shipping?

Shipping is determined using a rate calculator. In some cases the rates may be inaccurate and additional fees may be required.

Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. You can choose 3-Day, 2-Day or Next Day service for an additional charge. The expedited shipping duration does not include the time to process your order or the time it may take to build your product(s). Please refer to the Shipping Estimate feature in your cart screen, after adding your items, to estimate the amount of your shipping cost. If actual shipping rates are higher than what the cart quoted, additional fees may be applied.

Q: Can I have my order sent to more than one address?

Each order can be sent to only one address. If you are purchasing several items to be shipped to different addresses, you'll need to place a separate order for each different shipping address.

Q: Can I send an order to a country other than the United States?

We usually ship to the United States & Canada. However, if you would like to ship an order to other countries you must place the order over the phone at (800)669-2535.

Q: Delays during holiday seasons between Thanksgiving and Christmas

Shipping companies often do not guarantee any shipment a couple of weeks before Christmas. Please allow extra time for deliveries during this time. You can also contact us for expedited shipping options.

Q: Item is on backorder

We will contact customers via your email in case the product you ordered has to be built and will be delayed. If you have other items on your order that are not on backorder we will wait for the backordered item to be built and ship all the items together. Please contact us if you would like the available products shipped separately.

Q: Undeliverable packages (orders returned to us)

Packages that are returned to us by the U.S. Postal Service or UPS and marked as "Unclaimed", "Return to Sender", "Attempted Unknown", "Refused", or "Invalid Street Address", will be contacted by our sales team to try and get the delivery errors corrected.

Q: Billing address information is inconsistent with what is on the credit card record

To protect our customers against credit card fraud, we will call, email or use other ways to verify that the credit card holder authorized the purchase. The billing address MUST MATCH the records at the card issuing bank or we will not accept the order.

Q: Restocking Fee

Returns are subject to a 20% Restocking Fee.

Q: What kind of warranty are on your products?

THIS IS WARRANTY INFO IS FOR ALL PRODUCTS, OTHER THAN SADDLES:
Double J warrants the products we manufacture will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days after the invoice date of purchase. Double J’s sole responsibility and obligation under this limited warranty, is to replace or repair the product at Double J’s option during the limited warranty period.

THIS IS WARRANTY INFO FOR SADDLES:
Double J warrants the saddle will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days after the invoice date of purchase. Our saddle trees are built to exacting standards of quality and fit in our factory, and carry a five-year limited warranty, to the original purchaser. During the repair process, some parts may have to be replaced during the repair process, resulting in additional charges. Double J’s sole responsibility and obligation under this limited warranty, is to replace or repair the product at Double J’s option during the limited warranty period.

ABOUT SADDLE FIT:
Our state of the art manufacturing process results in a symmetrical tree that will not twist or break, under normal use. Since saddle fit is ultimately a function of a particular horse’s confirmation, we cannot warrant that our saddle will fit every horse. However, we do make several different fits to accommodate different confirmations of horses . If you are concerned about saddle fit, please consult the options offered by our demo program. In addition, we do have Certified Saddle fitters throughout the United States and Canada who can assist you in determining saddle fit.

Q: What does "Back Order" mean?

Back order is the term we use for when your product(s) must be built or made. Usually it takes about 2 to 4 weeks.

Q: How do I measure my belt size?

Due to the vast variety of pant sizing please use a measuring tape or an old belt to accurately size your belt!

Using a measuring tape: Measure exactly where you like your belt to sit on your hips then add 2", this equals your Double J Saddlery belt size.

Using an old belt: Measure from the fold to the middle hole and add 1", this equals your Double J Saddlery belt size.

Q: What is your return policy?

Refunds are made (minus shipping and 20% restocking fee) for stock tack, belts, and accessory items as long as they are unused and returned within 30 days. (There is no return for custom items.) Saddles are handled differently---we have a trial program available to help the customer eliminate ordering mistakes. If, however, circumstances are such that we allow the return of an unridden saddle, a 20% restocking charge will be applied. If you have any questions, please call us at 800-669-2535.

Q: What do I need to do to return my order?

Yes, our showroom is located in the front of our factory and has a wide variety of in-stock items to purchase. Our showroom hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST and Saturday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm CST
