At Double J Saddlery, we use the right combination of the very best in raw materials, innovative design, and a strong dedication to quality, to produce this professionally designed barrel saddle. The heart of every saddle is a properly designed saddle tree, and this saddle tree is wide enough to fit the stouter, cattier barrel horse of today. We designed the saddle tree with enough gullet height to accommodate most horses with a thoroughbred influence (and higher, narrower whithers). Proper padding will help eliminate fitting problems for this horse. This unique tree design enables us to fit a lot of different horses.

Our Pro Barrel Racer is loaded with innovative, high tech details such as biothane stirrup leathers (for strength and flexibility), aluminum stirrups, and high-density closed cell foam lined skirts (which helps to accommodate some of the variations is the shape of different backs). 3-way adjustable rigging provides close contact and a great feel for your horse. This skirt design, along with the tree design, produce a saddle that keeps the shoulders free and helps eliminate riding up in the back. The low-rise seat, deep dish cantle, and forward hung fenders keep the rider balanced and secure throughout the run. Available with square or round skirts.
