The "Lynn McKenzie Special Saddle” is on the cutting edge of saddle design for speed events. We started by improving the saddle tree design to allow increased shoulder movement and freedom for the horse's hips to coil under the back of the saddle. These improvements, along with the unique 3 way adjustable rigging design, allows the weight of both saddle and rider to be distributed evenly along the horse's back. We also offer the Lynn McKenzie tree in a wider fit for the horse with wider shoulders and a flatter back that the LM special tree does not fit. These bars still flare out, allowing the shoulder blade unrestricted movement under the bar. Of course, we've also retained same the great seat and innovative features of the Lynn McKenzie Special.
